KARACHI (Dunya News) – A renowned player of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi on Sunday has announced retirement from one-day international (ODI) after the world cup of 2015.

While talking to the media, Shahid Afridi stated that I have announced retirement from ODI after the world cup of 2015, however, I will continue to play T20.

He further added that the management has been informed about this decision and that he will stay away from the politics.

He showed his wish to remain be titled as a fastest century holder as he had scored 102 runs on 37 balls on October 4, 1996 against Sri Lanka

Further, Afridi had also chased the record of 300 wickets against Sri Lanka in 2011 whereas he had also been appreciated on hitting maximum sixes in test cricket match.

Moreover, Shahid Afridi has also been entitled as a best strike rater.
