LAHORE (Dunya News) – Misbahul Haq has become Pakistan cricket’s most accomplished captain by winning his 15th test match, leaving behind Imran Khan and Javed Miandad’s record of 14 test matches.
The star middle order sportsman has won his 15th test match against New Zealand on Thursday.
Earlier, Haq had matched legend Imran Khan and Miandad’s 14 victories in test matches against different countries.
Misbahul Haq became captain of the Pakistani cricket team in 2010 when the team was going through spot fixing crisis. The Pakistani captain has maintained an average of 43.75 which is the highest for any Pakistani batsman to date in test matches.
Before his fastest 50, the captain who was known as ‘tuk-tuk’ has now become ‘boom-boom’ after all rounder Shahid Afridi.
