Summary Imran Khan got Rogers within the 31 balls Aussies faced before stumps to give Pakistan an edge
ABU DHABI: (Web Desk) – Pakistan batting has given Pakistan a great advantage in the second Test of the 2-Test series between Australia and Pakistan that is being played in Abu Dhabi. At stumps on Day - 2, Australia was 22 for the loss of 1 wicket. Aussies were put to bat by Pakistan just a few minutes before the end of Day – 2. Delivering exactly what Misbah was looking for, Imran Khan got the ball to move away from Rogers in the fifth over that forced Rogers to play at it. He only managed to nick it to Sarfraz who didn’t make any mistakes.
Younis Khan’s double ton and Misbah’s century allowed Pakistan to believe that they can win this Test by only batting once in the match too. Pakistan scored 570 runs for the loss of 6 wickets before declaring their innings. It was courtesy their batsmen, mainly the centurions Younis Khan, Skipper Misbahul Haq and Azhar Ali, that Pakistan now seem set to win this series against Australia after a gap of 20 years. The last time they won a series against Australia was in 1994.
