Summary Pakistan women beat Bangladesh in final match to win first gold.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar M. Khan and Chief Operating Officer (COO) have congratulated Pakistan women s team, captain Sana Mir, manager Ayesha Ashhar and chairperson of PCB Women s Wing, Bushra Aitzaz on retaining gold medal in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.
“The Team Pakistan’s triumph is a matter of pride for all of us, especially because it is our first gold medal in the ongoing Asian Games”, said Shaharyar Khan in a message to the team manager Ayesha Ashhar.
The PCB Chairman said: “This is an important victory, in the sense that it shall provide great encouragement and boost to women’s cricket in this country.”
“The team was well-prepared and we were confident that after the recent tough tour of Australia immediately before the event it shall maintain its top spot on the podium”, said Subhan Ahmad.
