Summary Appointment of chairman PCB would fall under the board of governors according to the new rules set.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to the new decree of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) approved by the Law Minister, Chairman PCB would be elected by a ten-member board of governors. The new decree, furthermore, allows forwarding a motion of no confidence against the elected chairman, which has previously never been a part of the constitution. Also the tenure of the chairmanship has been reduced to 3 years.
The appointment of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) would also be carried out by the board of governors.
The approval for the post of Managing Director (MD) could not be decided.
