England was edged out by Pakistan in the semi-final match. Zafar Gohar and Amad Butt started in the battle. The pair came to rescue when Pakistan were in the doldrums, chasing 205 target set by England.
Pakistan chased the target and beat England by three wickets, shattering England’s dream of reaching their first U-19 WC final since 1998.
On the other hand, South Africa beat Australia by 80 runs in second semi-final and marched into the final.
