NORTH SOUND (AFP) - Michael Lumb became only the second Englishman to make a century on his one-day international debut when he reached three figures against the West Indies on Friday.
Lumb, 34, reached his century off 109 balls having hit seven fours and two sixes as England took control of the first match in the three-game series.
South African-born opener Lumb becomes the just the ninth man to hit a century on debut and the second English player after Dennis Amiss in 1972.
