ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has refused to hear a plea against removal of Zaka Ashraf and the appointment of Najam Sethi.

According to details, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqi heard the plea against the sacking of Zaka Ashraf as PCB chairman, suspension of board and appointment of Najam Sethi as PCB chief.

During the course of proceedings, the judge excused from hearing the case, saying that the decision of removing Zaka Ashraf was taken by the same court. Therefore, the matter is being forwarded to Chief Justice.

The plea was filed by advocate Abdur Razaq on behalf of Multan Cricket Board member Ahmed Nawaz.

The petition stated the appointment of Najam Sethi and suspension of cricket board as illegal and unconstitutional step.
