Summary India have replaced under-performing quick Ishant Sharma with Varun Aaron.

AUCKLAND (AFP) - India won the toss and decided to bowl first in the third one-day international against New Zealand in Auckland on Saturday.

The home side won the first two matches in the series and victory would give them an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Both sides have made one change from Wednesday s rain-affected second match in Hamilton on Wednesday, which New Zealand won by 15 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

The extra pace expected from the Eden Park wicket has meant a recall for Hamish Bennett to the New Zealand side, three years after he played the last of his 12 ODIs against Sri Lanka.

India, who won the toss and bowled first in the two previous matches, have replaced under-performing quick Ishant Sharma with Varun Aaron.
