ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restored Zaka Ashraf as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Riaz Ahmed and Justice Noorul Haq of Islamabad High Court issued verdict over the intra-court appeal filed by Zaka Ashraf.
Earlier, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqi ordered to sack Ashraf from his post on June 24, 2013.
According to sources, Najam Sethi is likely to file an appeal against today’s order of two-member bench in favour of Zaka Ashraf.
It is important to mention that all the matters of PCB were handed over to Najam Sethi after his appointment as caretaker PCB chairman. However, he was being barred from making decisions on important issues
