DUBAI (AFP) - Pakistan, fighting to save the second Test against Sri Lanka, were 189-4 at lunch on the fourth day in Dubai on Saturday.

Pakistan lost key batsman Younis Khan for 77 in the first session before Misbah-ul Haq (74) and Asad Shafiq (18) saw them through to lunch.

Pakistan, who conceded a big 223-run lead on first innings, need another 34 runs to avoid an innings defeat.

Younis and Misbah added 129 runs for the fourth wicket.

Paceman Nuwan Pradeep has figures of 2-41.

The first match of the three-Test series ended in a draw in Abu Dhabi last week.
