KINGSTON (AFP) - West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle revealed Thursday that he had come through three car crashes in quick succession.

The big-hitting 34-year-old batsman, who is currently nursing a hamstring injury, said the triple misfortune had befallen him since he returned from the tour of India three weeks ago.

"Since home I've been in 3 Car accidents... None Major - Luckily I'm ok and well. It could have been worst. #GiveThanks," Gayle wrote on Twitter.

Gayle's hamstring injury forced him to miss West Indies' ongoing tour of New Zealand.
