DUBAI (AFP) - Pakistan were restricted to 209 in the second day-night international against South Africa in Dubai on Friday after they won the toss and opted to bat.

Opener Ahmed Shehzad was the team s top-scorer with 58 as South African pacemen Ryan McLaren (4-34) and Morne Morkel (3-38) ably exploited the bounce and carry on the Dubai stadium pitch to keep Pakistan down to a modest total in 49.4 overs.

South Africa lead the five-match series 1-0 after recording a sensational one-run win in the first match in Sharjah on Wednesday.
