Summary India defeated Pakistan by 11 runs to win the second and final T20.
AHMEDABAD: Pakistan were beaten by eleven runs in a nail-biting finish against their arch rivals India as the two-match Twenty20 International series was leveled 1-1 at the jam-packed Sardar Patel Stadium on Friday.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to field.
Pakistan s first wicket fell at 74 runs when opener Nasir Jamshed was caught by Kohli off Ravichandran Ashwin at individual score of 41 runs including 4 fours and a six.
Pakistan lost Ahmed Shehzad at team score of 84 and individual score of 32 runs including 3 fours and one six. He was stamped by Dhoni off Yuvraj Singh.
Umar Akmal was Pakistan s third loss at 146 runs. He contributed 24 runs, including one four and one six, off 17 balls before he was bowled by Ashok Dinda.
Pakistan s fourth wicket- Shahid Afridi, fell at 163 runs or just 30 runs short of winning target of 193 runs. Afridi added 11 runs off 5 balls including one four and one six. He was caught by Sharma of Kumar.
Skipper Mohammad Hafeez was the fifth Pakistani wicket to fell at 168 runs. Hafeez scored 55 runs off 39 balls including 6 fours and 3 sixes. He was caught by Raina off Dinda.
The sixth Pakistani wicket to fell was Kamran Akmal at the collective score of 172 runs. Kamran was caught by Kohli off Dinda.
Pakistan s last and seventh wicket- Umar Gul- fell at 181 runs.
From Indian side Yuvraj Singh played a supreb innings and smashed 72 runs.
Yuvraj Singh was declared man of the match.
