Pakistan won the toss and elected to field against India in the first Twenty20 on Tuesday.
BANGALORE: First T20 match between Pakistan and India is in progress here. The cricketing ties between the South Asian neighbours resume after the Mumbai attacks.
The Pak-India series consists of two T20s and three ODIs and the captains of both teams have said spectators will get to see some good cricket.
Pakistani squad comprises Muhammad Hafeez‚ Ahmed Shehzad‚ Nasir Jamshed‚ Kamran Akmal‚ Umar Akmal‚ Shoaib Malik‚ Shahid Afridi‚ Sohail Tanvir‚ Umar Gul‚ Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Irfan.
The Indian squad comprises G Gambhir‚ AM Rahane‚ V Kohli‚ Yuvraj Singh‚ SK Raina‚ RG Sharma‚ MS Dhoni‚ RA Jadeja‚ B Kumar‚ I Sharma and AB Dinda.
The second T20 match will be played in Ahmedabad on December 28.
