Summary Sri Lanka police have closed down a factory manufacturing fake World Twenty20 team shirts.

The International Cricket Council said in a statement on Wednesday that the Colombo Crime Division made a series of raids over the last one week after the ICC complained about counterfeit merchandise in local markets.During the raids, the CCD closed down a factory which was in the process of producing large quantities of fake team shirts.Police conducted similar successful raids during the World Cup in Sri Lanka last year.
