Summary Wahab Riaz has said playing in tournaments in Sri Lankan Premier can help bring him back to team.

Wahab Riazs last appearance for Pakistan was in March when Virat Kohli inspired India chased down Pakistans total of 329 for 6 in Mirpur during the Asia Cup.Whilst Pakistan bounced back from the defeat to India to lift the Asia Cup, the game against India where Wahab went for 50 runs in 4 overs was his last of the tournament and he has not been selected for his country since in any format.Wahab told PakPassion.net: Ive really enjoyed playing in the Sri Lankan Premier League for Ruhuna, its a very impressive and professional setup. The standard of cricket has been very high and also very competitive. All in all its been a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one that I hope I will get the opportunity to repeat in future stated Wahab. I congratulate the organisers on the tournament and thank them for all of the hard work that they have put into the tournament. Each of the Sri Lankan Premier League franchises has cricketers from a wide selection of countries and Wahab feels that the international flavour adds to the attraction for fans watching the tournament as well as stating that the format is one that provides the teams with an ample opportunity to succeed.Speaking regarding his own form and a possible return to the Pakistan team, Wahab stated: Ive felt in good shape throughout the Sri Lankan Premier League and my rhythm has been good. I feel that quick bowling is about having a good rhythm and about being confident.I feel that my rhythm and confidence is back and Im hopeful that I can make a comeback to the Pakistan team and prove my critics wrong. However I have to wait for my chance, nobody has a right to play for Pakistan, you have to perform and you have to play well and be consistent.
