The latest increase comes a day after the government raised petrol and diesel prices by Rs5.58 and Rs4.18 per litre, respectively.
The repeated increases have drawn criticism from citizens, who expressed concern over the impact of higher fuel prices on household budgets and the cost of living.
People said rising inflation had already made it difficult for families to meet their daily expenses, warning that another increase in petroleum prices would push up transportation costs and make essential goods more expensive.
