ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has announced a marginal reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), citing volatility in international oil markets and other relevant factors.
Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been reduced by Re0.58 per litre, while high-speed diesel has become cheaper by Re0.17 per litre.
Following the reduction, petrol will now be sold at Rs342.02 per litre, down from the previous rate, while the price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs371.44 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the government, the revised fuel prices will take effect after midnight and remain in force until August 31.
