ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has once again increased the prices of petroleum products, according to a notification issued on Monday.

The price of petrol has been raised by Re0.39 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs2.40 per litre.

Following the latest revision, petrol will now cost Rs341.98 per litre, while diesel will be priced at Rs370.69 per litre.

The new prices will take effect from midnight and remain applicable for one day, according to the government notification.

Earlier, the dealers’ margin on petrol and diesel was increased by 14 percent, with an additional Rs1.34 per litre approved for dealers of both petroleum products with immediate effect.

Following the increase, the dealers’ margin has risen from Rs8.64 to Rs9.98 per litre.
