ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government on Friday announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for a three-day period, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been cut by Rs2.20 per litre to Rs327.62 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs1.50 per litre to Rs380.86 per litre.

The notification states that the revised prices will remain in effect from August 8 to August 10.
The notification states that the next review of petroleum prices will be conducted after the three-day period, taking into account trends in international oil prices and fluctuations in the value of the Pakistani rupee.
