Gold prices surge by Rs2,830 per tola in Pakistan

Summary Gold and silver prices climbed in local and global markets, with gold rising Rs2,830 per tola in Pakistan.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold and silver prices witnessed a significant increase in both local and international markets, according to the latest market data.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said the price of 24-karat gold in the domestic market rose by Rs2,830 per tola to reach Rs455,063.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,547, taking it to Rs389,534.

Silver prices also recorded a notable gain, with the price per tola rising by Rs141 to settle at Rs7,314.

A day earlier, gold extended lossesd on Monday in Pakistan amid downward trend international market.

The price of per tola plunged by Rs3,094, bringing new rate to Rs452,233, while the 10-gram gold is now priced at Rs386,987 after a dip of Rs2,785.

Silver prices in Pakistan also fell with per tola rate dropping to Rs7,173 per tola after a dip of Rs94. The price of 10-gram silver stood at Rs6,116.
