(Web Desk) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced the suspension of weekly holidays for all field formations.

According to an official circular, offices will remain open on May 23 and 24, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) to allow taxpayers to pay their dues without interruption.

The board stated that the move aims to provide convenience to taxpayers and ensure the timely collection of taxes. All subordinate offices, including Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayer Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), have been instructed to operate as usual during the weekend.

The circular emphasized that these offices will continue their regular duties and tax collection efforts on the specified dates.
