Summary Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Wednesday, with 24K gold down Rs1,200 per tola to Rs498,962 and silver also declining, following a $12 drop per ounce in the global market.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices continued their decline in Pakistan on Wednesday amid downward trend in international market.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $12 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $4,766 per ounce.
In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,200, reaching Rs498,962 per tola. Similarly, gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs1,029, settling at Rs427,779.
Silver prices in local markets also fell, with the rate per tola decreasing by Rs34 to Rs8,324, while per 10 grams, it dropped by Rs29 to Rs7,136.
