KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices witnessed a notable decline in Pakistan on Friday, tracking the global trend.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,300 per tola, settling at Rs501,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs2,829, reaching Rs430,008.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $33 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,792 per ounce.
Meanwhile silver prices also followed a downward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola falling by Rs70 to Rs8,444.
Market analysts attribute the decline to fluctuations in global demand and currency movements, which continue to influence precious metal prices worldwide.
