Punjab government announces revised Ramazan office hours for five and six-day working departments, with reduced timings and shorter Friday schedule across the province.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Government of Punjab has issued a notification announcing revised office timings for the holy month of Ramazan across provincial departments.
According to the notification, government institutions operating on a five-day working schedule will function from 9:00am to 3:00pm from Monday to Thursday.
Departments observing a six-day working week will operate from 9:00am to 2:00pm from Monday to Thursday.
Across the province, office hours on Fridays will be from 9:00am to 12:30pm during Ramazan.
Officials said the revised schedule aims to facilitate employees while ensuring uninterrupted public service delivery throughout Punjab and administrative operations aligned with national practices in Pakistan.
