Pakistan's official forex reserves rise by $56 million

Pakistan’s official foreign exchange reserves increased by $56 million last week, with total reserves reaching $2.133 billion, while commercial banks hold $518 million.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s official foreign exchange reserves recorded an increase of $56 million during the past week, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Data released by the SBP shows that as of January 30, official reserves stood at $1.61572 billion, bringing the total value of official reserves to $2.13387 billion.
The State Bank also reported that commercial banks in the country hold reserves amounting to $518.15 million.
