Pakistans trade deficit narrowed to $1.80 billion in June, compared with $2.12 billion in June last year, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said on Monday. The deficit was $1.06 billion in May. Exports stood at $1.54 billion in June this year, against $1.91 billion a year ago. Imports were worth $3.34 billion compared with $4.02 billion last year. The countrys trade deficit for the 2008/09 (July-June) fiscal year narrowed to $17.04 billion as against $20.91 billion in the 2007/08 fiscal year.
