Designated banks to remain open on Saturday for Hajj applications

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – To facilitate the ongoing process of Hajj applications, designated banks will remain open on Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced on Friday.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, the collection of applications from registered Hajj pilgrims will continue until Saturday. The State Bank of Pakistan has instructed 14 nominated banks to keep their doors open for this purpose.
So far, over 58,000 applications have been received.

The spokesperson added that applicants can submit their forms either online or by visiting any of the designated bank branches – whichever works best for them.
Authorities are urging prospective pilgrims not to wait until the last minute and to complete the process as early as possible to avoid any hiccups.
