ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that countries run on taxes, not donation.
Speaking at the Literature Festival, he highlighted the impotence of tax reforms, stating that every citizens must contribute.
He acknowledged improvements in macroeconomics stability, including a strengthened currency and rising foreign reserves.
Aurangzeb urged the business community to remain optimistic, stating that significant progress has been made in the past 12-14 months.

He also discussed efforts to attact investment from friendly countries like China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE while stressing the need for structural reforms and digitalization in tax collection.
