FBR offices to remain open on June 22-23 for tax collection

The FBR has issued a notification in this regard and extended date for filing sales tax returns
(Web Desk) – The offices of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will remain open on Saturday and Sunday (June 22 and 23) for tax collection.
According to a notification, FBR’s Large Taxpayers’ Offices, Medium Taxpayers’ Office, Corporate Tax Offices and Regional Tax Offices will remain open to facilitate the collection of duties and taxes, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for taxpayers.
It may be recalled that the FBR extended the date of payment and submission of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Returns for the tax period of May 2024.
The FBR extended the date due to Eidul Azha holiday. The date of submission of Sales Tax & Federal Excise Return, which is due on June 18, 2024, is extended to June 24, 2024.
