Nepra to put additional burden of Rs144bn on electricity consumers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) is all set to put an additional burden of Rs144.86 billion on electricity consumers.
Electricity distribution companies have come up to Nepra to impose additional burden on the power consumers.
The Nepra authority will hear the request of the DISCOs on August 23.
Sources said Fesco had asked for an increase of Rs23.49 billion, Gapco Rs16.13 billion, Hesco and Isco Rs9.9 billion collectively, Lesco Rs31 billion, Mapco Rs27 billion, Pesco Rs9 billion, Kisco Rs7 billion, Sepco Rs5 billion and Tesco Rs4 billion.
