Gold rates surge by Rs2,600 per tola
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Gold rates in Pakistan surged by over Rs2,000 per tola on Thursday.
The price of 24 carats gold increased Rs2,600 per tola and Rs2,230 per 10 grams and settled at Rs224,700 and Rs193,644, correspondingly.
The price of the gold increased by $3 and settled at $1,756 in the global market with the gold hovering near a one-week high.
The gold rate has been instable in Pakistan amid continued political and economic uncertainty, and high inflation. People prefer to buy gold in such times as a safe investment and a hedge.
Data shared by All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) showed the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,750 per tola and Rs2,357.68 per 10 grams.
