Hefty increase in gold prices
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Despite gold prices remaining stable in the global market, a significant increase in the rate of metal was recorded in Pakistan.
The prices of gold in the international market remained stable at the level of $1,959 but in Pakistan, the prices of gold per tola increased by Rs6,500 and the per 10 grams by Rs5,574.
Owing to increase in the prices, the price of gold per tola reached Rs214,500 and the price of gold per 10 grams touched Rs1,83,900.
It should be noted that the price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,000 a day earlier (Thursday).
