Dar predicts inflation rate at 7pc by 2025
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has predicted inflation rate to be seven per cent by 2025.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan would get $1.19 billion within 24 hours of the approval of the IMF Board meeting.
Ishaq Dar said that the first objective was to make Pakistan the 24th economic power. In 2017, the Pakistan Development Fund project was destroyed due to political instability.
Ishaq Dar said the inflation rate in Pakistan would come down to seven percent in two years.
In 2022, the opposition political parties had two options, he said, adding, the first option was to wait for the elections, the second option was to fight the economic crisis.
The political parties decided to move no confidence against the Prime Minister under the second option, he said, adding that now it was high time for all the political parties to sign the Economic Road Map and Economy Chartered.
