Task Force to secure Dasu Hydropower Project
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Dasu Hydropower Project Task Force will be the leading agency for security of the project, sources said on Tuesday.
Sources said approval had been taken from the federal cabinet through the circulation of the summary of the Ministry of Interior.
Army, Punjab Rangers, GB Scouts, police and Levies would be deployed for security while Wapda security force and private security guards would also be the part of the task force, they added.
They said the task force would prepare a comprehensive security plan for the project and would ensure the security of the entire Dasu Hydropower project.
The security of the local, Chinese and foreigners working on the project would be ensured and all the security personnel of the project would work under the command of the task force.
