ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Economic Coordination Council’s (ECC) session is planned to be held today and 11 points agenda has been issued in this regard.
According to finance ministry sources, the amendments in Import Policy Order will be made to allow government agencies to import raw material for pharmaceutical products. Also, the issuance of tariff adjustment notification for K-Electric under the bi-annual adjustment request is probable as well.
The session is also anticipated to given nod for the allocation of 567 million rupees supplementary grant for Ministry of Education and Professional training along with the allowance of 14 million rupees for the employees of Federal Tax Ombudsperson.
According to the agenda the session will also discuss issuance of 19 million rupees for the repair of Rangers helicopter upon the request of interior ministry. Moreover 150 million rupees for Intelligence bureau (IB), 500 million rupees for housing ministry’s supplementary technical grant may also be approved.
