56 paisa to 1 rupee 7 paisa increase in the electricity prices for K-electric consumers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved 56 paisa to 1 rupee 7 paisa increase in the electricity prices for K-electric consumers in a recent session.
NEPRA has approved to increase the price of electricity from 56 paisa to 1 rupee 7 paisa for the K-electric customers. According to NEPRA, K Electric had sought an increase of Rs.1 and 66 paisa per unit in February under monthly fuel adjustment charges. However, the NEPRA said, suitable increase has been approved.
NEPRA authority says that the new prices will be applicable only for one month, the increase will not be applicable to lifeline and electric vehicle charging stations.
