Banks to remain closed for public today

KARACHI (Web Desk) – The State Bank of Pakistan and all private banks are closed for public dealing today (January 2) in the wake of bank holiday.

The central bank issue a notification about the bank holiday last week, stating: “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealing on Monday, January 2, 2023, which will be observed as ‘Bank Holiday’. All banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the aforementioned date”.

However, employees of the banks / DFIs / MFBs will attend the office as usual, it added.
