FBR extends dates for payment of taxes / duty, filing of ST/FED returns

The FBR has extended the dates for payment of taxes/duty and for filing of ST /FED returns.

According to a press release issued Federal Board of Revenue, the FBR has informed all chief commissioners of LTUs and RTOs that the date for payment of taxes / duty has been extended up to August 20, while the date for filing of Sales Tax / Federal Excise Duty returns has been extended up to August 30.This extension of date is for the tax period July 2011, and is applicable to all registered persons.
