Rupee gains 38 paisa against USD
The greenback closed at Rs167.25
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of US Dollar weakened by 38 paisa in the interbank on Wednesday against Pakistani rupee.
The greenback closed at Rs167.25 on third business day of the week compared to previous closing of Rs167.63.
Meanwhile, the price of euro depreciated by Rs1.12 and closed at Rs197.81 against the last working day’s trading of Rs198.93 the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen closed at Rs1.52, whereas a decrease of Rs1.47 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs230.1 as compared to its last closing of Rs231.57.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal depreciated by about 11 paisa each to close at Rs45.53 and Rs44.59 respectively.
