Govt releases 40pc of development budget in first two months of FY
Government set target of Rs900 billion for development projects in for FY22.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has released about 40 percent of the development budget in just first 2-month of current fiscal year.
According to Planning Commission, government has released Rs392 billion for development projects including Rs57 billion for National Highway Authority.
For water projects, government has released Rs49 billion, Rs18 billion each for energy sector and Gilgit Baltistan and Rs15 billion for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Government has set target of Rs900 billion for development projects in for FY22.
