Gas supply to CNG stations, non-export industries in Punjab, KP suspended
RLNG supply is being diverted to power sector: sources
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Supply of gas to CNG stations and non-export industries in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was suspended till July 20 as severe gas crisis grips country.
According to sources, gas supply was suspended in order to provide uninterrupted supply to power sector for electricity generation.
Sources further said that RLNG supply is being diverted to power sector due to shortage of gas as well as furnace oil.
