Rupee depreciates 20 paisa against US dollar
In the Open Market, the rupee was traded at 165.80/166.50 per US dollar
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistani rupee (PKR) depreciated by 20 paisa against US Dollar (USD) in interbank session as the currency closed the day s trade at PKR 166.17 per USD, against last session s closing of PKR 165.97 per USD.
The rupee traded within a very narrow range of 25 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 166.20 and an intraday Low offer of 166.10.
Within the Open Market, the rupee was traded at 165.80/166.50 per US dollar.
Meanwhile, the currency lost 61 paisa to the Pound Sterling as the day s closing quote stood at PKR 213.61 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 213.01 per GBP.
Similarly, PKR s value weakened by 74 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 197.18 at the interbank today.
