PSX loses 114.93 points, closes below 40,000 level
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend as KSE-100 lost 114.93 points and fell below the 40,000 point mark.
The day began with a positive trend as the index gained 150 points within 2 hours of opening business, reaching a peak of 40,178.82 points.
Later in the day, the index lost 68.73 points and stayed negative owing to uncertainty in the market.
At the end of the day, the index closed at 39,914.76 recording a decrease of 0.29% with 289,979,667 shares being traded.
