Trade deficit in June 2020 shrank by 20% to $2.123 billion.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s exports in June 2020 recorded a decline of 6.5 percent as compared with June 2019, Dunya News reported on Friday.

June 2020 exports, which amounted to $ 1.592 billion, showed a rise of 14 percent as compared with May 2020. Imports in June 2020 moved down by 14.7 percent to $3.715 billion.

Trade deficit in June 2020 shrank by 20% to $2.123 billion. Trade deficit in 2019-20 stood at $23.183 billion, shrank by 27.11%. During the last fiscal year, exports fell 6.84% to $ 21.387 billion and imports by 18.61% to $ 44.570 billion.
