Govt distributes Rs200b amongst power companies
Sukuk bonds were sold to reduce volume of circular debt.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal government has distributed Rs200 billion amongst 77 power companies.
According to details, around 20 percent of the total amount has been received. Port Qasim Electric Power received Rs22.7 billion, Central Power Rs15.2 billion, Wapda Hydel Rs15 billion, National Power Parks Management Rs13.32 billion.
