Tax collection likely to reduce in Pakistan this year: IMF.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said that tax collection in Pakistan during the ongoing year is likely to reduce, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

The international organization has feared that tax collection will reduce by 18.6 percent and the amount collected through sales tax will remain Rs 1427 billion with a reduction of 23 percent.

Furthermore, petroleum tax collection is likely to remain Rs 295 billion with two percent contraction and customs duty will fall by 22 percent with an amount of Rs 546 billion.
