Pakistan Stock Exchange witnesses bearish trend
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Bloodbath at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Wednesday continued as the KSE-100 Index plunged 1,238 points to trade at 28,326 points, Dunya News reported.
On the other hand, the US dollar gained Rs 1 against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market. The greenback initially surged by 50 paisa to trade at Rs 159.50 in the interbank market on the third business day and gained another 50 paisa afterwards to reach Rs 160.
The price of the US dollar had increased by 33 paisa on Tuesday to trade at Rs 159. The value of the greenback increased by Rs 1.33 in past two days due to the global crisis created by coronavirus.
