Pakistan Stock Exchange plunges over 2,100 points.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Wednesday plunged over 2,100 points as the KSE-100 Index continued to witness bearish trend and fell below the psychological barrier of 31,000 points, Dunya News reported.

The investors lost Rs 300 billion due to the downfall. The US dollar, on the other hand, gained 18 paisa against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market to trade at Rs 158.60.

The PSX had fallen by ten levels including 33,600, 33,500, 33,400, 33,300, 33,200, 33,100, 33,000, 32,900, 32,800 and 32,700 on Tuesday.

A downfall of 3.17 percent was witnessed during the entire business day and the investors suffered further loss of over Rs 150 billion.
